Spinal Cord Injury Ontario (SCIO) is excited to partner with BATL Axe Throwing for the first-ever SCIO Celebrity Axe Battle, held through the month of November in various cities across Ontario.
Hit the bullseye with notable sports celebrities like Wendel Clark, Damon Allen, Sami Jo Small, Billy Bridges, Natalie Spooner and Raptors SuperFan Nav Bhatia*. Each event will be hosted by multiple award-winning actor and comedian, Seán Cullen. This is guaranteed to be a battle to remember!
Each team will play a minimum of three games; the winning team and top fundraising team from each night will receive full bragging rights, a photo for social media and the satisfaction of knowing they helped SCIO #PeeItForward. There is no entry fee, but teams must commit to raising $2,000 to participate.
Register your team (recommended 2-6 players with a maximum of 10) and commit to raising a minimum of $2,000. The more you raise, the greater the chance at “drafting” your favourite celebrity to your team.
Register as an Individual and fundraise a minimum of $200.
Sponsor a team of SCIO community members, made up of people with lived experience, to participate, minimum sponsorship $2000.
You shouldn’t have to empty your wallet to empty your bladder. Sadly, it costs many Ontarians up to $2400 a month to do just that due to the lack of sufficient coverage for intermittent catheters and supplies.
Your participation will support SCIO’s efforts to give our community greater access to catheters and medical supplies. Your support helps us tackle systemic barriers and provide programs and services that are transformational and life-saving.
